It follows Martin Moone and his imaginary friend (Chris O’Dowd, 'Bridesmaids') as they both deal with the constraints of family life in a large Irish household in the late 1980s, and the trials and tribulations in coming of age. The show was written by Chris O’Dowd and Nick Vincent Murphy.
It won 'Best Scripted Comedy' at the BAFTAs and an International Emmy for Comedy.
